Watch the video, ‘Average’, to see how to command the computer to calculate the average of rows, columns or selected cells. The average formula that needs to be inserted in the answer cell looks something like this; =AVERAGE(A2:A10).

Although not strictly required for Enterprise Accounting, calculate the average expenditure on ‘Supplies’.
